Wil Wheaton keynotes PAX

Thursday, May 3rd, 2007

Congrats, Wil, on keynoting PAX. I don’t know much about Penny Arcade yet, but I’m going to check out this site.

So you want to sell this to your wife huh?  They are getting you a Wii so would that be considered payment? ;)  You can also come from the angle of, “Well I wanted to be a writer, and now I’m writing a keynote address.”

Well, maybe all these ideas stink, but it’s still cool.

Congrats, Wil.

WWdN: In Exile: so i’m going to be the keynote speaker at PAX . . .

Writing Everyday is Tough

Monday, February 26th, 2007

Ok, so you’ll see I haven’t written at all since my last post.  Writing everyday, plus all the daily day-job, family, church, etc. commitments is a very tough task.  I’ve learned that managing all this is difficult.  I’ll get it going though.

NaNoWriMo Day 2

Thursday, November 2nd, 2006

I got a late start tonight.  I didn’t start writing until after 8:00 PM tonight and needed to stop a few minutes ago.  Brain is shutting down, eyes closing.  My three hour round trip to get to work and back seems to be taking it’s toll a lot earlier these days than it used to do.

Today: 1149

NaNoWriMo Day 1

Thursday, November 2nd, 2006

So NaNoWriMo started yesterday.  Here is my word count:

Word Count:
Today: 1942
Total: 1942

Not bad for one day.  The founder, Chris Baty, suggested we aim for 2000 words a day instead of the minimum of 1667.  This makes sense as it will help you reach the 50,000 words a bit earlier and give you a bit of a cushion.  As Mur Lafferty said, Thanksgiving is approaching here in the USA.  I’ll Update for my NaNo Day 2 later tonight.
